Photojournalism: Suicides in Greece

PROJECT BRIEF

In July 2012, Rome-based brazilian photographer Paulo Siqueira contacted MLCK to help him realise his photography project about the increasing number of suicides in a country worn out by the debt crisis. Faced with a real challenge, mostly due to the taboo-nature of the subject, MLCK provided its high-quality fixer and interpreting services, to allow the photographer to approach families that had lost a loved one, while preserving their privacy and respecting their pain.
